Cycling to the carnival is a fantastic alternative – the wind in your hair, the sunshine on your face, reducing the number of cars on the road, getting active, beautiful scenery and a chance to say g’day to fellow riders as you pass.
As the carnival site is right in front of the Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club, there will be many of you living or staying within a short distance from the action. There is no better opportunity to take a stroll to the carnival each day! Alexandra Headland is a beautiful location with one of the most scenic coastal walks you’ll find.
6. Car Parking
The Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club will be offering car parking at their event parking space on Mari Street. More parking details will be released closer to the event date.
Please be mindful that the Sunshine Coast Council monitors parking in and around Alexandra Headland to increase vehicle turnover and accessibility within the centre to ensure customers, residents and visitors find it easier to park.
